SMALS is a Belgian non-profit organisation. It provides IT-services to social security institutions and other organisations in the public sector in Belgium. The kind of services that SMALS provides entail the development of tailor-made solutions, the reuse of existing solutions, the provision of infrastructure, consultancy, and shared procurement. SMALS also has a research team with expertise in data analytics, cryptography, cyber security, machine learning, NLP, etc. SMALS has been hosting an EBSI-node in the past. During this project, it will provide feedback with a Belgian social security perspective on the project’s deliverables. SMALS will participate in “WP5. Social Security Use Case.
